I'm completely sure that you have already heard at least one song by a Colombian artist. When we think of them, the first names that come to our minds are usually: Shakira, Andrés Cepeda, Carlos Vives, Juanes, and some others you may know. But there is a huge amount of underground local artists, that nobody really knows yet are extremely talented. All these great musicians made me fall in love with their music instantly; they have contributed to enlarge more every day my dream of becoming a musician and sharing a message with the world. They have worked from the ashes and with a lot of effort and passion, they have achieved great things. Sadly, the music industry here is a little bit unfair because they haven't had the recognition they really deserve. Today I´m going to share these artists with you, for you to acknowledge them and make them part of your life.
Firstly, I must clarify that the bands and artists that I´m going to mention are all Colombian. Some are from Bogotá, others from the Caribbean, Cali, Chocó, or even from Mitú; but at the end of the day, we are all from the same homeland and share a beautiful tricolor flag that unites us. Below you´ll find a list I made with the artists and a song of theirs recommended by me. I also divided the artists by music genre, because I know not all of us share the same taste in music; however, all of them are amazing and astonishing. I know you´ll love them all. You can find most of them on Spotify and in the worst-case scenario you can find them on YouTube.
