Artworks
Third grade girls have worked in art class with their teacher Michel Leonardo Pinzon in some famous painters artworks. They have made representation of great paintings with their own creativity. Here you're going to see four workshops from two different girls, but first, some comments of their teacher:
Maria Paulina's bird is a mosaic collage style inspired by the artist Franz Marc, in which she made her own composition.
Violeta's lady is inspired by Botero and the way how figures are structured from circles and ovals. Making her own version of a famous work of Botero, an exercise in creativity and understanding herself as a woman-artist able to reinterpret a famous work of history.
The men and women in different colors are from an activity based on the artist Keith Haring, exploring how to make human figures in 3D. The people who appear there are in a party of people of different colors, addressing the theme of the value of diversity.
