
Christmas bucket list

Get ready to start the holidays with a great spirit and exciting activities to do, while you are at home. In this bucket list, prepare yourself for getting out of your usual routine, with some fun challenges that you can do with your friends, family, or pretty much anyone. You will have 12 activities that you can do on the 12 days of Christmas or any time you like.
Gingerbread Men
Recipe:
Ingredients: serves 15 cookies
1 and ¼ cups of flour
1 teaspoon of powdered ginger
¼ of a teaspoon of vanilla extract
½ cup of white sugar
¼ cup and 2 tablespoons of softened butter
½ teaspoon of baking powder
¼ teaspoon of salt
Step 1: Cream together butter and sugar until smooth, and then beat in the eggs with the vanilla.
Step 2: Stir in the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Step 3: Cover the dough with parchment paper and let chill for at least an hour or overnight.
Step 4: Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
Step 5: Roll out the dough and cut the shapes of the cookies.
Step 6: Place the cookies on a baking sheet and bake for around 6 to 8 minutes, or until they are golden brown. Let them cool.
2. S'mores/ fire
Prepare a little fire in your chimney, and get the ingredients for the s’mores, which are: marshmallows, chocolate bars, and cookies. Get in the holiday spirit and invite your family. Cook your s’mores, and enjoy.
3. Christmas ornament
Make a DIY Christmas ornament! You can use cardboard, paper, recycled objects, pretty much anything, let your imagination flow and create a special addition to your Christmas tree.
4. Decorate Christmas
Get with your family and decorate Christmas as you always do. Do not let this situation make you skip on a really special occasion. Enjoy the process!
5. Watch a Christmas movie.
Watch a Christmas movie with a hot cup of chocolate. It could be any movie you like, one of the classics, like home alone, or any of the new ones that are just coming out for the holidays.
6. Read a Christmas book/ story.
Pick a good read, sit down, and enjoy your reading, pick a Christmas themed book or story, and enjoy it.
7. Send a letter to Santa.
Write a letter to Santa, why not? Get back to the old days, and let the kid inside of you make a letter to Santa, just like you used to do.
8. Make a Christmas themed photoshoot.
This activity is destined to be done with some good music in the background, ask someone to join you, and make the craziest pictures.
9. Send a gift or a card to someone.
Remember a special friend or family member, and send them a special something.
10. Play secret Santa with your friends
Join with a group of friends or classmates, and play the classic game of Christmas, secret Santa.
11. Make a handmade gift.
Get on your creative side and make a gift for someone special.
12. Donate things that you no longer use
It is always important to give back, especially in the holiday season, so check on what you are no longer using and donate it. It can make someone's day.
