2021 Fashion trends

A new year implies a change in your life. So why not start the year with a new wardrobe? The following displays the upcoming fashion trends for 2021. Mind you, these are just trends and you are free to wear whatever you want. However, it might be of your interest to know what’s currently becoming common in runways and fashion shows. Remember you don’t have to buy fast fashion to have the most up-to-date wardrobe; nor do you have to spend tons of money. You can always recycle a piece of clothing to make it trendy, buy new pieces at secondhand stores, or even check your parent’s old wardrobe for vintage clothing items.
Oversized shoulder pad boyfriend jackets:
80s-inspired oversized boyfriend blazers are back! Rock this style with a pair of straight-leg trousers and white sneakers for a more laid-back look.
Head Scarfs
Inspired from the 50s and the 60s, this smooth trend is coming back in an enormous way. Headscarves secure your hair and include a wrapping up touch without exaggerating it. There’s a broad selection of head scarfs. There are ones with flower themes, complex designs or even simple ones with basic colors. When styling this item, you'll be able wrap the scarf beneath your chin in a free hitch, or have it hanging off the back of your head.
Baggy trousers
These seem to have taken up the fashion runways in 2020 and will continue to do so in 2021.
Corsets
Corsets are making a comeback. Corsets were pretty much everywhere in the Givenchy fashion show runway Spring 2021. These flaunt a beautiful figure and make yourself appear more elegant.
Puffed Sleeves
Puffed sleeved and pastel colors seem to be the trend for this spring. Puffed sleeves can be styled with flared jeans or even some skinny jeans to balance the “puffiness”.
